Forthcoming events:

Canoe Trip 2008

Canoe trip, 30 miles along the river Wye.
Saturday 6th to Sunday 7th September.
There will be 12 places, it'll be first come first serve so get in quick.
The total cost will be around £45 each this will cover canoe, equipment hire and accommodation. I will require a £10 deposit.
Food and drink for the weekend will be left to the individual, although there are pubs on the route.

Lakeland Trails 2008

4 Great Away Weekends in the Lake District, You can choose to run, jog or walk the Lakeland Trails Series www.lakelandtrails.org

Saturday 19 April – Hawkshead – 15k
Saturday 31 May – Garburn – 23k
Saturday 6 September – Derwentwater – 14k
Saturday 4 October – Coniston – 15k

Enter the series or just individual races. Online entries are now open at www.trailrunning.co.uk. Get your entries in NOW. These events are very popular and fill up fast. Campsites available or can book YHA accommodation.

For those interested I will try to arrange for hash runs on the Sunday on our way back to Oxford. Let me know asap if you are interested or have entered for individual races or the series in order that we can plan accommodation & transport.
